Welcome
The Inaugural Open Space Pace and Festival of Horses was held at Freehold Raceway on September 29, 2012. We generated a crowd of over 3,000 people! The second annual Open Space Pace and Festival of Horses will be held on September 21, 2013. The event will again consist of a parade of horses, demonstrations by equine and agricultural non-profits, demonstrations by Midieval Times, live harness racing, petting zoos, a concert and fireworks!
The Open Space Pace is dedicated to the preservation and protection of open space in New Jersey.
We are currently looking for sponsors, support, volunteers, and any contribution that you are willing to make. We believe that if we combine our efforts we can successfully help to rejuvenate NJ's harness racing industry while preserving open space.
